The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court (SCAC) decided to confiscate the property of Volodymyr Saldo, a former People's Deputy of Ukraine, former Kherson city mayor, and now a Kherson collaborator, who became the head of the "Military-Civil Administration (VGA) of the Kherson Region" after the temporary capture of the territory by the Russians. troops This was reported on May 9, 2023, on the VAKS website.
The decision of the Supreme Administrative Court in case No. 991/3250/23 partially satisfied the lawsuit of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine to impose sanctions on Volodymyr Saldo.
Volodymyr Saldo is charged with collaborationism and treason during martial law, which carries a sentence of up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property. The case of Saldo's treason is being considered in the Malinovsky Court of Odesa.
Volodymyr Saldo is included in the "Register of War Criminals", which was developed by the NGO "Anti-Corruption Headquarters" together with Slidstvo.Info journalists.
In general, in the state income in accordance with Clause 1-1 Part 1 of Art. 4 of the Law of Ukraine "On Sanctions" by court decision, 12 real estate objects, land plots, non-residential premises, a car and shares in two private companies were seized.
Among the property:
PJSC "Kashtan" (EDRPOU 02969774) in Korostyshiv district of Zhytomyr region (extracts decorative and building stone, limestone, gypsum, chalk and clay slate);
30% of the transport company "Delta Service" (YEDRPOU 02969774);
a hotel and a three-story building in Kherson;
a house with an area of 226 square meters in Kherson;
apartments in Kherson and Odesa;
apartments with an area of more than 300 square meters in Yalta;
apartment and two parking spaces in Oreanda;
several plots of land;
Volvo XC90 car;
The hotel and the three-story building of the Lost Peace complex were damaged in September 2022 during hostilities, which was reported by OC "South".
But the court refused to seize the property issued to Saldo's daughter Iryna, that is, Saldo owns it indirectly. It was about the following objects:
55.56% "Bebko-Avto" LLC (YEDRPOU 38390892) (a network of car dealerships in Kherson, which is a dealer of Volvo cars)
40% of the authorized capital of LLC "Konka" (YEDRPOU 32480173), registered in Kherson (leisure organization)
Saldo divorced his wife Lyubovya in 2021. In addition to his daughter Iryna, who is already an adult and lives in France, Saldo also has a minor daughter, Vasylina, from Kherson City Council deputy ("Block of Volodymyr Saldo") of the 8th convocation, Olga Spivakina. For the former son-in-law Vitaliy Mykolayovych Sinkov, PJSC "Kashtan", 99.86% of whose shares are owned by Lyubov Saldo, managed to be re-registered.
An appeal could be submitted to the Chamber of Appeals of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry within 5 days from the date of the announcement of the decision, which the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine did on May 17, 2023, appealing the decision of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry regarding the refusal to seize part of Saldo's property. Thus, all the property of the Saldo family in Ukraine was charged to the state income.
"Anti-corruption headquarters" hopes that court decisions in absentia regarding collaborators, including Saldo and members of his party who went to cooperate with the Russian occupiers, will sooner or later be executed and all criminals will be punished in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.
