"Anti-corruption headquarters" continues to collect information about collaborators for inclusion in the database of the Register of War Criminals.

We see and understand the participation of state traitors and collaborators in cooperation with the enemy and the Russian military, and accordingly fix those who become complicit in crimes during martial law. If you have more information, send it to us.

Oleksandr Saulenko, the self-proclaimed mayor of Berdyansk, was sentenced in absentia to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property for collaborative activity and treason. In addition, in accordance with the sanction of Article 111-2 "Treason", Saulenko is deprived of the right to hold managerial positions for 10 years.

The October District Court of Zaporizhia considered Saulenko's treason case from September 2022.

The prosecution insisted on life imprisonment with confiscation of property, the highest penalty provided by this criminal article.

But Saulenko's lawyer did not agree with the fact that his client was accused of treason in absentia. According to the lawyer, there should be a person who should organize everything.

On March 21, 2022, in Berdyansk, temporarily occupied by Russian troops, the occupiers "appointed" Oleksandr Saulenko "acting mayor" of the city.

In April, the self-proclaimed mayor of Berdyansk, Oleksandr Saulenko, appointed a local resident as his deputy, and also facilitated the illegal export of over 650,000 tons of Ukrainian grain.

On September 28, 2022, the Security Service of Ukraine notified Oleksandr Saulenko of suspicion as one of the organizers of the pseudo-referendum of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhia region.

After the judgment enters into legal force, a month later an order for the execution of the judgment is drawn up and signed by the judge. Next is the work of the police to establish the location of the accused and deliver him to the place of detention. The serving of the term begins after the person convicted in absentia is sent to prison.

According to the Zaporizhzhia Center of Investigation, the traitor was a labor protection engineer, a candidate in local elections, the founder of half-dead Berdyansk firms and, in general, a person not really from Berdyansk.
