Kherson journalist Oksana Korinna has reported suspicions of collaboration

The Security Service of Ukraine has reported suspicions of collaboration (Article 111-1) against former journalist from Kherson, Oksana Korenna.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The suspicion states that in June 2022, Korenna agreed to cooperate with the occupation authorities and was subsequently appointed as the Deputy Director of the "Department of Information Policy of the Occupation Administration of the Kherson Region."

"Later, on August 28, 2022, when the Russians restructured the occupation authorities, the 'department' became a 'ministry,' and Korenna became the Acting Deputy Minister of Information Policy of the occupation administration. In the summer of 2023, the occupation 'ministry' was again transformed into a 'department'," the suspicion states.

According to the investigation, in her positions within the occupation administration, Korenna was responsible for information policy and editing materials prepared by her subordinates for media coverage. She developed a media campaign plan to promote information about the work of the occupation authorities.

"Currently, Oksana Korenna continues to work in the occupation administration's department of information policy and develops regulatory documents and media campaigns in favor of the occupiers," the Security Service of Ukraine reports.
